Pattern Count and Lead Time Planner | FlexBlanket

Pattern count and lead time planner

Each unique geometry is its own pattern and carries its own pattern cost. Grouping identical items onto one part number is the largest lever a buyer controls, and it is worth measuring before the enquiry goes out.

Step 1 — Count the patterns in your tag list

One line per tag

Paste one shape description per line, then press the button.

What counts as the same shape

  • Same size, same body type, same cutouts and same lead exit — one pattern, whatever the tag numbers say
  • A different lead exit direction on an otherwise identical valve is a different pattern
  • Blank lines are ignored, and capitalisation and stray spaces do not create a new pattern

Step 2 — Schedule from drawing approval

Which route are you buying

Choose a route and press the button.

Prototypes are 7–10 days after drawing approval; production is 7–15 days for the released configuration. The prototype route figure adds the two published windows in sequence.

What the window excludes

  • Transit. Lead time is counted from drawing approval and excludes shipping
  • The time you take to approve the drawing, and any revision that restarts it
  • Payment is by T/T with a 30% deposit before production and the balance before shipment; small orders are settled in full up front

Send the grouped tag list with an annotated photo of each distinct shape and we will quote the pattern cost per shape rather than per tag.
